Founded in 1997 as a dream by its founder Chairperson Smt. Jaya Singh, Bal Bharati School has become one of the most prestigious educational institutions of Rewa Division. It is a Private not-for-profit school run by the Late Smt. Gayatri Devi Smriti Shiksha Samiti, Rewa.
Bal Bharati School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which is the largest educational board in the country.
